Oni Kai Aikido

Oni Kai Aikido is based on a foundation of traditional Hombu Aikikai methods and principles with the re-introduction of older elements predating Aikido, chosen specifically to preserve Samurai skills and lifeways while allowing room for inevitable evolution of the art. Incorporating elements of Aikjujitsu, Iaido, Kendo and other Samurai arts Oni Kai remains loyal to it's core foundation and traditions while allowing room for the development of a thoroughly modern and practical art.

The primary focus begins with recognizing that all human beings have value and learning to value others begins with valuing ourselves. By improving our physical and mental well being through the practice of Aikido we not only learn to respect ourselves but demonstrate our respect for others.
